What began in a central Austin garage—stripped down to acoustic guitar, bass drum, and dual vocals—quickly evolved into a powerful, genre-blurring sound rooted in ’70s proto-metal, ’60s psychedelia, Southern sludge, and New Wave. Moon Destroys ushered in 2026 with the addition of Zach Amster from Abrams as both lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist. The band’s next full length will be released in September 2026 with touring in the US and overseas to follow.
