TAKE THE FUNNY AND RUN Live improv comedy at Theatre 99 is a Charleston's funniest tradition! Shows at Theatre 99 are improv parties where audience members laugh until it hurts. Come loaded with suggestions for the quick witted Theatre 99 ensemble members who will take your suggestions...and rock out hilarious unscripted scenes. Guaranteed to make you laugh! Theatre 99 is located at 280 Meeting Street (above the Bicycle Shoppe). The stairs to our entrance are located at the back of the building. Please arrive at 30 minutes before showtime because seating is first come, first serve. Please check your spam/junk folder the day before and day of the show because Theatre 99 does send email reminders. All sales are final and can not be transferred to another date. Our bar accepts cash only. Sorry, no credit or debit cards. NO outside food or drinks allowed. NO backpacks allowed. There is NO PARKING at Theatre 99. We repeat - there is no parking at Theatre 99. PARKING TIPS: There is FREE street parking in downtown Charleston after 6pm. Hooray! Affordable parking garages 85 Hasell Street (Charleston Place) 399 King Street (Marion Square) 32 Alexander St. (by the Gaillard Auditorium). We strongly recommend avoiding the parking lot on George Street between Meeting St. and King St. because it is very expensive.
