Musique 21 presents an evening of new works exploring ethereal sound worlds and shifting sonic color, including MSU composer David Biedenbender’s Fireflies and Nancy Galbraith’s Interrupted Atmospheres. Other works feature a diverse range of instrumental pairings and ensemble combinations, highlighting music by Camille Pépin, Christopher Cerrone, Hao-Yuan Chiu, and Kevin Day.
