Enjoy beer, pizza, and orchestra music at Hardywood Park Craft Brewery. These casual, intimate concerts are a whole new way to experience the Richmond Symphony. This concert takes place at the Richmond-Scott's Addition location. General Admission tickets are valid for all three General Admission sections; seating for these areas are first come first serve. This program explores the rich colors and contrasts of wind and brass music across centuries. From the elegance and sparkle of Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik to the shadowed intensity of Shostakovich and Richard Strauss, the concert moves between light and dark, classical clarity and Romantic depth. Dvořák’s warm lyricism and Gabrieli’s grand, antiphonal writing highlight the expressive range of winds and brass, while Anthony Plog’s Four Sketches brings a dynamic modern voice to the ensemble.
