Ed Cherry is a distinguished jazz guitarist known for his expressive sound and deep roots in the tradition. A longtime member of Dizzy Gillespie’s ensembles, including the United Nation Orchestra, Cherry has performed and recorded extensively with leading artists such as Paquito D’Rivera, Henry Threadgill, and Roy Hargrove, and continues to appear on stages around the world.
