Led by married partners Jessi and Jared Fredeen, their songs turn love, vulnerability, and long-term partnership into an all-are-welcome celebration. Think heartfelt music with a wild streak — a bouncy house for adults where feelings are encouraged, kindness rules supreme, and nobody has to pretend they’ve got it all figured out. Their live shows feel less like a concert and more like a shared experience: joyful, honest, a little sweaty, and full of heart. bend. invites you to experience the tasty treat that is their sound! A musical charcuterie board filled with artful styles full of both color and sound for a one-of-a-kind, flavorful experience. Founding members Dan Roth (drums) & Nance Veltkamp (vocals, tambourine) recently welcomed accomplished musician, poet, writer and artist Sasha Victor on trombone to create brass-infused alt rock with blues-punk roots. Joining bend. is the incredibly talented producer/guitarist/bassist Victor Payne. Longtime friend Cody Sanders is bend.'s most recent addition, an epic talent on both guitar and bass. This emerging PAC NW band is reimagining originals and mash-ups of songs you never knew you needed! Bend. - More than just a band, it's a vibe. Equal + Opposite is "Modern Rock with a Vintage Vibe"! Harmonizing cousins blend their voices over a compelling backing of trumpet, keys, guitar, bass, and drums. We have a unique blend of originals and covers (60's through 90's), infusing elements from different genres such as rock, jazz, and latin, for a unique and memorable experience. Equal + Opposite is comprised of experienced Seattle musicians, and is led by Stephanie Hawkins, songwriter and music teacher, on vocals, bass, and keys. Josh Zimmerman, also a professional music teacher, does vocals, guitar, and bass. Mike Martinez brings his hard rock background to his drumming, giving an unexpected edge to our music. Shanda Chun on vocals and trumpet is the icing on the cake, completing our sound. Our first CD in a 3-part collection, "Below" is available on all streaming services, with our second CD, "Surface" nearly complete! -- Please note: • All sales are final.
