Full Cord Telluride winners, IBMA Momentum Band of the Year, and a live show that hits like a campground jam with arena level horsepower. Full Cord is an award winning bluegrass band from Grand Haven, Michigan, known for tight harmonies, sharp songwriting, and a live set that balances tradition with adventurous edges. Formed in 2008, the band’s name comes from an early gig where Eric (guitar & also a sawyer) spotted their instruments piled up and joked it looked like a “full cord of wood.” In 2022, Full Cord won the Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Contest and was named IBMA Momentum Band of the Year, a one two punch that helped put them on the national bluegrass map. Their Dark Shadow debut, Cambium (2023), captures the band’s range: driving originals, tasteful genre cross pollination, and serious chops.
