50th Anniversary Art of Jazz Concert featuring Trumpeter Scott Wendholt

Trumpeter Scott Wendholt joins the Monday Night Jazz Ensemble for a dynamic presentation of big band jazz. A veteran of the New York city jazz scene, Wendholt has played in the Carnegie Hall jazz band, as well as band lead by Bob Mintzer, Maria Schneider, Toshiko Akiyoshi and for the past 20 years been a featured soloist with the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra (formerly Thad Jones/Mel Lewis). He is also on the faculty of the Manhattan School of Music. Scott Wendholt will provide a free, public masterclass on Saturday, November 7 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Room P101.
