50th Anniversary Art of Jazz Concert featuring Saxophonist Dave Pietro

Saxophonist, composer and educator Dave Pietro joins the Monday Night Jazz Ensemble for an exciting evening of big band jazz. Pietro, a multiple GRAMMY award winner, has toured with Harry Connick, Jr., Maynard Ferguson, Ray Charles, Maria Schneider, David Bowie, Michael Feinstein, Rosemary Clooney and Liza Minnelli. He is currently the Director of Jazz Studies at New York University. Dave Pietro will give a free, public masterclass on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Room P101.
